Jade Yoga started in early 2000 with the creation of their classic Harmony Mat to meet the needs of yogis who found themselves slipping in hot yoga classes. Since then, Jade has expanded their selection of yoga mats to suit all types of yoga. Jade Yoga uses natural tree rubber, a renewable and biodegradable resource, to create the ideal sticky mat.
We recommend wiping your mat down with a damp cloth on a weekly basis to maintain stickness. We also recommend using a plant-based mat wash. It is not recommeded to use any cleaner with alcohol, petroleum and essential oils on your Jade Yoga mat.
Jade mats are made sustainably with natural rubber from rubber trees, and made in the United States.
It's always best to clean your mat after a yoga class. Wipe the mat down with a designated yoga mat cleaner. Or, wipe the surface down well with a rag dipped in a warm water mixed with mild soap.
Becasue Jade Yoga mats are made from natural rubber, they do get affected by UV light and is best kept out of prolonged sunight and UV lights.
