    How to use essential oils

    The second most common way to use them is topically. You can add them to your body creams, shampoos or detergents. Apply them directly on your skin after diluting them with a gentle carrier oil (coconut, almond, jojoba, etc.).

    The most important thing to keep in mind is to buy high-quality essential oils from trustworthy brands. Extremely cheap brands tend to have artificial add-ons, so do your research before buying.

    As with any other natural remedy, check with your doctor before deciding whether aromatherapy is right for you.
